You can either choose to upload the theme to your server via ftp (only upload the unzipped folder of “Pustaka“ into the folder wp-content/themes/ ) or via WordPress upload function. To use the upload function of the WordPress admin panel make sure to ONLY upload the “Pustaka” folder.
After that, activate the theme on Appearance -> Themes. Now your Theme is the active and go to appearance > Install Plugin to install and actived the required plugin.
Installing Via FTP :
Unzip the pustaka.zip in the theme package.
Using an FTP client to access your host web server. Go to /wp-content/themes/ and make sure that you do not already have a pustaka folder installed. If you do, then back it up and remove it from /wp-content/themes/ before uploading your copy of pustaka theme.
Log in to your WordPress admin panel and go to Appearance → Themes
Locate the theme thumbnail and click the Activate link.
How to Update the Theme
Update Method
This method does require more steps and manual work. First you need to manually download the new theme package from your Themeforest account or at tokokoo member page. Once you have the new theme package, you can choose to upload the theme via WordPress or via FTP. Please see the information below for how to download new files, and install it via WP or via fTP.

Step 1 – You need to deactivate the current “pustaka” theme in the “appearance > themes” section by simply activating a different theme. Once you activate a different theme, you can delete the pustaka theme. Dont worry, your content will not be lost.

Manual Import
You may import XML files, where some demo data from our site are, which can facilitate your work with theme. XML files (Phototastic.xml).
For this you need:
Navigate to Tools -> Import and install WordPress import plugin.
Select the XML file and upload it.
Do not forget:
– Folder wp-content/uploads should have permissions 777.
– Download and import file attachments should be checked.

How to Translate Your Theme
To translate the theme do the following:
Download the Poedit program to start translating the theme. While there are other programs that you can use, for the sake of clarity and simplicity for this tutorial we will use Poedit. It’s free and you can download it from here. Then install it. That’s easy too. Just click next. Then … next. Then finish. And you’re done.
Translate the .pot or .mo file that is included in the themes “languages” folder and upload to your theme folder inside of the languages folder. When you save the files, you must name them according to your language code. i.e. for English is en_EN.
Tell WordPress what language to use. if you haven’t done so already, you’ll need to make sure your wp-config.php file matches your language files. For example, if you’re using a French translation, you’ll need to add the fr_FR.po and fr_FR.mo files to your theme folder, then set your language in wp-config.php, like this: define (‘WPLANG’, ‘fr_FR’);
Save your wp-config.php file, upload it to your WordPress installation, and you are ready to go. By the way, your wp-config.php file is located in the main directory where all your core WordPress files are located.
Please note: All plugins you are using must also be translated.
