WpAlter WordPress plugin is a powerful tool to customize your WordPress admin area and elements. With which you can white label most of the elements in the WordPress admin section and brand it as your own software. This plugin doesn't requires any programming knowledge as it has simple to use and powerful user interface to customize the look and feel of the admin theme.

Installing the plugin

Method 1

1. Download Envato Market plugin from github (http://envato.github.io/wp-envato-market/dist/envato-market.zip).

   The Envato Market plugin can install WordPress themes and plugins purchased from ThemeForest & CodeCanyon by connecting with the Envato Market API using a secure OAuth personal token. Once your themes & plugins are installed WordPress will periodically check for updates, so keeping your items up to date is as simple as a few clicks.

   You can add a global token to connect all your items from your account, and/or connect directly with a specific item using a singe-use token & item ID. When the global token and single-use token are set for the same item, the single-use token will be used to communicate with the API.

2. Then login to your WordPress admin section and navigate to plugins page. Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin. Click the button Choose and select the zip file that you have downloaded in step 1.
3. Click the Install Now button and once the plugin installed click Activate plugin link.
4. Click the 'Envato Market' menu in WordPress and connect to the API. You will need to generate a personal token, and then insert it to the token field.
5. Once API connected you will get list of themes and plugins you have purchased from Envato market. Navigate to Plugins tab and click install button under Alter Plugin

Method 2

You can install the plugin manually in 3 simple steps.

1. Download the "Installable Wordpress files only" to your local computer. This is simple for you to install the plugin simply and instantly.
2. Then login to your WordPress admin section and navigate to plugins page. Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin. Click the button Choose and select the zip file that you have downloaded in step 1.
3. Click the Install Now button and once the plugin installed click Activate plugin link.
   

Once the plugin is activated, you can see the entire look of the admin theme have been changed to our plugin's default color scheme. Also you can see a list of new menus have been created in the admin menu list from which you can customize the colors and elements of the admin theme as your wish.

After installation, the plugin will ask you to enter your purchase code. Find your purchase code from the license file and enter the code. That's it. You can start customizing the admin theme.

You can use envato toolkit WordPress plugin to update the plugin Or just replace the files to the plugin folder via ftp. That’s it. You have just updated the plugin to the latest version.
